Hello again my blogging friends! Today was an average Thursday at school. Nothing to exciting happened. We did however have to set up a job shadow. It was a mess trying to set it up but now that I know what I want to do and if everything goes through on it, it will be pure awesome! If you don't know me I love air planes! I want to fly so bad it's unreal, so for my job shadow I might go to the airport and see what kinds of jobs you can get in aviation! That would be so so awesome if I get to go!
Anywho besides boring old school, today I had to do a 10 gallon water change on my QT. All my fish are looking way better and are eating normally which is a great sign! And not to mention a huge relief off me. So as of right now I'm borrowing a tank to keep my sick fish in but last night my awesome dad talked to his friend who had a tank and didn't want it so he bought it for me!! What a great guy! He thinks it's a 20 gallon and he got it for cheap! How awesome right?! My fish are on day 2 of treatment and day 2 of being out of the display tank. Only 12 more days of treatment and 26 more days of being in quarantine.
Then today I was on Facebook and I liked Paul Watson's page because I'm a conservationist, and he posted this wonderful song about dolphins and whales. So I would love to share that:
LEVIATHAN
Once upon the land,
Before the hour of Man,
Creatures who, like me and you,
Left footprints in the sand,
Through the primal mud,
Warm of milk and blood,
Returned once more unto the shore,
And to the sea for good,
The humpback, the finback, the pilot whale, too,
The right and the sperm and the blue,
Sing me your song that I, someday,
May sing it with you.
Leviathan, King of the sea,
Sing me your song and when I sing along,
You may share all your myst'ries with me,
Leviathan, King of the sea,
Leviathan, King of the sea.
As creatures swim and crawl,
Our kingdoms rise and fall,
We show our worth as kings of Earth
By how we treat them all.
From crocodile and crane,
To hunters on the plain,
We turn once more unto the shore
And to the sea again.
The humpback, the finback, the pilot whale, too,
The right and the sperm and the blue,
Sing me your song that I, someday
How amazing is that?! It really touched my heart and I hope it did the same for you.
Well that's all for now so peace bloggers!
